Adele record company has been forced to deny the singer has throat cancer after rumours began to spread online following the cancellation of her UK tour.

Silencing speculation on Twitter, the Brit superstar, who’s been forced to cancel a long string of upcoming performances to undergo throat surgery, insists the claims are “false.” "We would like to reiterate that Adele is to undergo surgery for a haemorrhaged vocal cord," her spokesperson told Us Weekly. Last month, the soul songstress also spoke out about her “heartbreak” at cancelling her US tour commitments.

The Doctors wants her full recovery so they expect she will take a rest for awhile to achieve this full healing and also expect a fully healthy not in the of chart-topping songster. The Someone Like You singer has been plagued by voice problems this year. She scrapped a string of US dates in June because of laryngitis and a serious cold and chest infection saw her cancelling more dates in the States.
